METALKAST MINNESOTA
CHAPTER

Rög and Snakeskin have been
brothers in Metal and a part of
the Minnesota Music Scene for over
twenty years. It should be no
wonder at all that hundreds, if
not thousands, of discussions on
the genre, the evolution of the
art, the history, origins and
influence on them personally and
others were common between them
over the years.

Many of these discussions
centered, specifically, on their
own local scene. Minnesota has
always been an area with far too
much fluctuation, where the genre
itself can be loved one day and
loathed the next. They remember
fondly a time when Metal ruled,
not only Minnesota, but the rest
of the World, as well.

A number of the latter discussions
aforementioned centered around the
establishment of METALKAST. With
an overwhelming global response in
a very short period of time, both
were certain there was no better
time to create a subsidiary
"venue" then right now and right
here! In their combined
inadvertent investigation of the
local offerings (playing the area
themselves in Hatecrime, Fullstack
and Fear Not) they found
themselves surrounded by a
plentiful and ripe pool of
world-class, diverse, talented and
hungry acts, both young and old!
The rest was simple. NOW WAS THE
TIME!

METALKAST MINNESOTA CHAPTER is
simply this:

position to present to the
established listening audience of
METALKAST and the ears and eyes
of the industry, Minnesota's
finest talents of the Metal,
Hardcore and Modern Hard &
Progressive Rock genres."
